Key Expressions
A: Is she going to be a conductor?
B: She might become a conductor. I’m not sure.

주어 | might (might not) | 동사원형 | |
I | might | talk to him later. |
She | might not | eat dinner at home tonight. |
* might의 부정문인 ‘might not’은 축약형이 없으니 기억하세요.
Grammar Points 2 – will/might 구별해서 쓰기
might(not) + 동사원형 | will + 동사원형 |

‘could not(couldn’t)은 부정의 확신 (~일 리가 없다)을 유의하세요. 예) He could’t be wrong.

6. 요약
will으로 제안하는 문장을 말할 때, 맨 뒤에 if you want / if you like 등을 붙여서 상대가 원할 때의 의미를 추가할 수 있다.
I won’t stay in Peter’s house.
might의 부정인 might not은 축약하지 않는다.
could not은 ~일 리가 없다라는 확신의 의미이므로 could의 부정을 말할 때는 might not의 표현을 쓴다.
A: I might snow today.
B: Oh… I brought the my car today. I’ll use public transportation, if it snows today.
A: Good. A traffic accident might happen on a snowy day.
