단위명사 표현 방법

단수 = a + 단위명사(단수) + of + 불가산명사(단수)

    a + cup       + of + coffee

    a + glass     + of + wine

    a + piece     + of + cake

복수 = 수량 + 단위명사(복수) + of + 불가산명사(단수)

    two + cups      + of + coffee

    three + glasses  + of + wine

    four + pieces   + of + cake

가산명사 How many… ?

How many mangoes are there? – There are ten mangoes.

불가산명사 How much… ?

How much flour is there? – There is some flour.

*many는 셀 수 있는 명사와, much는 셀 수 없는 명사와 쓰인다

우리에겐 사과/초콜릿이 충분히 있어 = We have enough apples. / We have enough chocolate.

우리에겐 사과/초콜릿이 충분하지 않아 = We don’t have enough apples. / We don’t have enough chocolate.

그걸로 충분해 = That’s enough

그걸로 충분하지 않아 = Thant’s not enough. Thant isn’t enough.

그건 너무 많아 = That’s too many. / That’s too much.

*enough는 가산명사와 불가산명사에 모두 사용할 수 있다.

 응용 문장  :

How much bread is there? – There are two loaves of 소금빵.

 느낀점  : 

이번주는 주로 음식과 음료에 대해 배웠는데, 그중에서도 어떤 음식, 음료가 셀 수 있고 셀 수 없는지 그리고 그에 따른 문법 만들기가 키포인트였던 것 같다.

셀 수 없는 음식중엔 음료는 물이니까 이해가 가지만 엥 이런것도 셀 수 없다고? 라고 생각할만한 단어들이 몇가지 있었다. chocolate, bread, meat 같은 것들?

그런데 해리쌤이 chocolate은 원래 액체였으니까 셀 수 없는 음식이라고 설명해주셔서 바로 납득했다. 그렇지만 아직까지 bread meat는 이해가지 않는다.. 이해가 가지 않으면 외워야지..!

day 70 B번 문제를 반대로 읽어서 틀린 문제가 있었는데 그렇다면 맞은것은 왜 맞은건지 이해가 되지 않아서 처음으로 학습문답을 참고했다.

나처럼 같은 부분을 틀리고 이해하지 못한 수강생의 질문 덕분에 이해하고 넘어갈 수 있었다. 다음에도 또 모르거나 틀리는 문제가 생기면 학습문답을 참고해야겠다!
