* 시점을 표현하는 전치사들

at ~에(특정시간)

I’m going to have dinner at seven p m.

on ~에(특정 요일/날짜)

Bob can’t go to school on wednesday.

in ~에(특정 년도/계절/월), ~ 안에(기간)

It rains a lot in the summer.

I’m going to clean my room in two days.

by ~까지

I’m going to clean my room by tomorrow.

* By two weeks from now 지금부터 2주 후까지

 By early next week 다음주 초까지

 By the end of March 3월 말까지

By the day after tomorrow 내일 모레까지

By this time next year 내년 이맘때쯤까지

By the end of this month 이번 달 말까지

By late summer 여름 끝 무렵까지

When are you going to finish cleaning the garage?

I’m going to finish it by the end of this week.

DAY 142 지금 하고 있는 일/예정되어 있는 일 구별해서 말하기

* be+동사ing: 현재진행형–>미래를 표현

1) I am doing my homework now. 현재진행

2) I am doing my homework this evening. 미래

1) 현재진행 She’s meeting him at the moment.

2) 미래 She is meeting him at five pm.

—> 구체적 일정이 예정되어 있을 때, 일정/시간을 덧붙이면 현재진행과 미래를 구별할 수 있음!!!

* be going to: ~할 계획이다. 

         VS

   be+동사ing : ~할 예정이다. (확실함!)

I’m going to get married.

I’m getting married in May.

I’m going to meet him.

I’m meeting him this afternoon.

DAY 143 목적이 무엇인지 말하기

* to 부정사: ~하기 위해서/ ~하려고

1) to부정사: I practice dot shallow everyday to become a famous celllist.

2) in order to: I go to work in order to make money.

3) so as to: He’s getting ready so as to go to the airport.

* Where are they going this summe7r?

They are going to italy to see their relatives.

I’m going home in order to see my parents.

These days I go to the gym to lose weight.

DAY 144 근거를 가지고 예측해서 말하기

* be going to +동사원형: 사실에 근거한 예측 표현!!

The traffic is terrible, they are going to be late for their flight.

—> 여기서 late는 형용사이므로, 

       be late로 동사를 만들어서 사용!

Lisa is carrying too many plates, She’s going to drop them.

He didn’t study for the exam, He’s not going to pass the exam.

 The ground is slippery, He’s going to fall.

* He’s not going to get the job.

His parents are going to be sad.

Look at those cars. They are driving too fast.

They are going to crash!

DAY 145 시간이 예정되어 있는 미래 일정에 대해서 말하기

* 현재형으로 미래를 표현

1) 정해져 있는 사실인 경우

My flight lives at nine tonight.

The meeting starts at seven tomorrow morning.

The springtom begins on March 2.

–> 현재의 시점에서 이미 정해져 있는 사실이기 때문에, 문장에 미래의 시점을 나타내는 표현이 있어도 현재형을 사용할 수 있다.!!

2) 시간 관련 접속사가 사용된 경우

She’s going to do her homework after she finishes dinner.

He’s going to call you before you get home.

They are going to place a car when it gets warmer.

* What time does your classes start tomorrow?

It starts at ten tomorrow.

When does your shop close?

It closes in ten minutes.

•  요약  : When are you going to paint your house? I’m going to paint my house by this time next month.
• What are you doing? I’m watching a movie now but i’m meeting a friend at seven pm.
• Why is he working so hard?
• He’s working hard to pay for his tuition.
• The boys are playing baseball in the parking lot. They are going to break the car windows.
• What time does your train leave?
• My train leaves at nine tonight.

•  응용 문장  : We are going to go on a diet by the end of August.
• I’m working now but i’m traveling in May.
• They are going to the embassy to get a visa.
• Don’t worry! I saw the navigation, we’re going to arrive on time.
• I’m going to watch Youtube after I study English.
•  퀴즈렛 테스트 결과  : 16.5, 11.3, 11.2
•  느낀점  : 이번 차수에서는 기존에 배웠던 be going to, be+동사ing를 활용하여 문장을 길게 만들 수 있는 덧붙임 표현을 함께 익혀보았다. 그 중에서 be going to는 (정확치는 않지만 언젠가?는 할) 의도/계획을 말하고, be+동사ing는 (확실하게!) 예정되어 있음을 강조할 때 사용한다는 것을 구분할 수 있었다. 처음에는 정말 많이 헷갈렸는데 be+동사ing를 사용할 때는!! 정확한 시점을 항상 같이 표현해야함을 기억하니 조금 익히는데 수월했다. 기존에 알았던 내용에 첨부할 수 있는 표현들을 배워서 부담이 확실히 덜 했던 차수였다. 🙂
