(115강) 내가 더 좋아하는 이유 말하기
– ‘ing’로 끝나는 형용사: satisfying(만족스러운), exciting, boring, disappointing, confusing, terrifying(겁나게 하는), surprising, embarrassing(난처한), tiring, frightening(무서운), amazing(경이로운), upsetting(짜증나게 하는)
– ‘ed’ : 주어가 느끼고 있는 감정 상태를 이야기할 때 / ‘ing’ 그 감정 상태를 유발한 대상에 관해 이야기할 때 사용

- 느낀점 :
이번 주는 다양한 형용사와 비교급 표현에 대해 많은 것을 배웠다. 형용사를 비교급으로 표현할 때 단어의 형태가 바뀌는 경우가 있고, 그렇지 않은 경우가 있어서 많이 헷갈렸던 것 같다. 뿐만 아니라 less than, worst than과 같이 평소에 잘 쓰지 않았던 표현을 사용해 문장을 만들려고 하니 조금 어색해서 버벅거리에 되었다. 비교급이 일상생활에서 많이 쓰이는 표현인데 한국어와 달리 영어로 말하는게 조금은 복잡해서 많은 공부가 필요할 것 같다는 생각이 들었다. 또한 ed와 ing를 사용한 형용사의 의미 차이에 대해서도 공부했는데 이 부분은 학창시절에 워낙 많이 공부했던 부분이라 다른 부분에 비해서는 쉽게 느껴졌다. 그래도 실제 대화를 하면 많이 틀리는 부분이니 반복 연습이 중요하다고 생각한다.
